Sameer Ahuja has been a resident of Scarsdale for a combined 21 years dating back to 1985. He graduated from Scarsdale High School in 1992. Sameer has embraced community service and is currently serving on the Village Advisory Council on Communications. He is leading the committee’s work to redesign the Scarsdale.com website. Sameer has also been actively involved in the school community, serving as a youth softball and basketball coach for Heathcote girls for several years.
Community development has been a theme of his career, much of it spent building entrepreneurial, high-tech businesses. Currently, Sameer is the COO (GM) of GameChanger Media Inc., a NY-based sports technology company owned by DICK’S Sporting Goods. GameChanger builds mobile apps and data products that unite thousands of communities in all 50 states around youth sports. He was the co-founder of the Sports Museum of America, a public-private tourist attraction supported by NY State and City government that was part of the redevelopment of Lower Manhattan post 9/11. Sameer spent many years working in fintech and data science environments, at Dera Capital Advisors, Gate Global Impact, JPMorganChase and A.T. Kearney.
He has a B.A. in Economics from Columbia University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Sameer resides in Heathcote with his wife Sima and two daughters, Anya (11) and Ella (8).
