This site is dedicated to providing information about Scarsdale's Non-Partisan System and  the Citizens' Non-Partisan Party campaign for the election of candidates for Village Mayor, Village Trustee and Village Justice.

The Citizens' Party is organized each year for the purpose of managing the election campaign of the Non-Partisan candidates selected in accordance with the Non-Partisan Resolution.

The Scarsdale Citizens' Non-Partisan System seeks to promote a cooperative, deliberative and open atmosphere in local civic affairs in order to attract the most qualified individuals to serve in local public offices.

We invite you to review the history of this system, its governing resolution and the recently adopted unifying principles.  We hope you find this information useful and that you will consider the objectives of the Citizens' Non-Partisan System worthy of your support.
